Head up high and strong
She was abused and used from childhood on
She has a boy and girl and her family are now gone
And from the ground she picked her crown
Of honor and respect, she looks for help
She will prevail; she won’t dwell in the past
For her little ones she has won
She is twenty and goes on and blessings she will find
One day away she will clearly say
With me my children, Safe!
And The “Almighty” not away
I’ll go his way, not faraway
The past at last are gone
On this, earth my home
My kids won’t be alone
My head up high and strong
