A sorry generation
The day good manners were killed
People cried
A sorry generation became walking dead
They could not say sorry, it is the story
Could not greet or kindly treat
Couldn’t and wouldn’t say thanks
Didn’t get a smile in return
Never got a turn to rejoice
Lives torn were born
In a fatherless lonely dorm
Begging for purpose to return
Frowning their loneliness on a keyboard
Resurrection of manners is simple
Respect, greet and thank as a mode
Say, mom and dad hello
In a mellow tone say, I love you
Say, forgive me, a sorry person is gone
A sorry generation is gone
Love when is given;
Gives a great purpose as you go
